GenQR Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Gen QR application (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gen QR. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Gen QR provides a suite of tools designed for creating and customizing QR codes. Our features include, but are not limited to:

  • Adding images or logos to QR codes
  • Adjusting the size and margins of QR elements
  • Customizing the color and style of QR dots and corners
  • Exporting QR codes in various file formats (PNG, SVG, JPEG, WEBP)

We strive to offer a user-friendly experience for all your QR code creation needs.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this agreement and to abide by all of the Terms.


3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Gen QR immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3.2 Lawful Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes but is not limited to:

  • Harassment or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user
  • Transmitting obscene or offensive content
  • Disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Service


4. Intellectual Property

All content and materials available on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, website name, code, images, and logos, are the intellectual property of Gen QR and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any of the materials, including for commercial purposes, is prohibited.


5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Ownership

By creating QR codes using our Service, you retain all rights to your content. However, by using the Service, you grant Gen QR a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, perform, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, developing, and improving the Service.

5.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share through the Service. You agree not to post content that:

  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains defamatory, obscene, or otherwise offensive material


6. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found here. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.


7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.


8. Disclaimers

8.1 No Warranty

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Gen QR makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Gen QR be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, even if Gen QR or a Gen QR authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.


9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gen QR, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.


10. Changes to Terms

Gen QR reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will do our best to provide notice of significant changes, but it is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.


11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of VietNam, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of VietNam
